The Rise of Diego Fagundez

So being stateside does have its serious drawbacks when looking to experience the live action of the world's best. Instead I have to settle for MLS which is certainly making progress but is (obviously) nowhere near the level of Europe's best. Anyways despite the MLS's frustratingly lack of flair and class that we see in a typical EPL match, I did happen to see something truly exhilarating.

While at the MLS match between Chivas USA & the New England Revolution, I witnessed the MLS debut of 16 yr old, Uruguyan wunderkid Diego Fagundez. He was introduced around the 60th minute with the Revs trailing two nil. In just under 15 min of play, Fagundez demonstrated his pure class in drawing a penalty & then converting his first ever goal on a half breakaway! Although hes a small kid, his foot skills & speed seem to have him destined for great things. For those of you who love to stay up to date on the up & coming young talent, this is a name to watch!

Take it away young Diego....

(also powerful finish for shalrie on the pk----wonderfully hit)
